A website SEO check that keeps running. Every page scored, every fix listed.
A technical SEO audit on every run, the part of Mati that keeps your site fit to be found: page speed and Core Web Vitals, indexability, broken links, robots.txt and sitemap, with every page scored and every fix listed. Plus a check that ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini can read you. Its fixes and page briefs feed Mati's plan and writers.
A website SEO check is a scan of your pages for what stops search engines and AI assistants finding, reading and ranking them: titles and meta descriptions, speed, indexing, broken links and crawler access.

Step 1: Crawl the site
Mati crawls your pages and shows coverage: what it found, and what it could reach.
Step 2: Score every page
A page SEO checker for every page: title and meta description, headings, word count, canonical link, structured data, image alt text and internal links. Each page gets a score from 0 to 100 and a list of recommendations, plus an AI Improvement Brief you can hand to a writer.
Step 3: Run the technical checks
robots.txt, sitemap, HTTPS and redirects, indexability, broken internal links, and Core Web Vitals for your homepage on mobile.

Website SEO check questions, answered.
How do I check my website's SEO?
Crawl every page and check what search engines read: titles, meta descriptions, headings, speed, indexing and broken links. Mati does this on a schedule, scores each page from 0 to 100 and lists the fixes, so the check stays current as the site changes.
What is a technical SEO audit?
A technical SEO audit checks whether search engines can find, crawl and index your site, and how fast and sound your pages are. Mati runs one continuously: robots.txt, sitemap, HTTPS and redirects, indexability, broken internal links and Core Web Vitals, plus a score for every page.
Is a site check the same as a technical SEO audit?
Here, yes. A site check in Mati is a technical SEO audit that runs on a schedule rather than once: every page is crawled, scored from 0 to 100 and given its fixes, so the list stays current as the site changes.
What does a page SEO checker check?
The parts of a page search engines read: the title, meta description, headings, word count, canonical link, structured data, image alt text and internal links. Mati checks each crawled page for these, scores it from 0 to 100 with the fixes that would raise it, and writes an AI Improvement Brief that says what to change.
What should an SEO audit checklist include?
Crawling and indexing, speed, on-page basics and links: robots.txt, sitemap, HTTPS and redirects, indexability, Core Web Vitals, titles, meta descriptions, headings and broken links. Mati’s site check works through that list on every run, and adds whether AI crawlers can read you.
What is a meta description?
A meta description is the one- or two-sentence summary in a page’s HTML that Google often shows under the title in search results. It does not rank a page, but it decides whether people click. Mati flags every page where it is missing.
How long should a meta description be?
Around 140 to 155 characters, because Google cuts longer ones off in its results. Keep the title to 60 characters for the same reason. Mati flags every page whose meta description runs past 155 characters or whose title runs past 60.
How do I find the sitemap of a website?
Try the site’s address followed by /sitemap.xml, or open /robots.txt and look for a Sitemap: line. Mati checks your robots.txt and sitemap on every run, so you know search engines can find the list of your pages.
Does page speed affect SEO?
Yes: Core Web Vitals are part of how Google judges page experience, and slow pages lose visitors before they read. Mati checks Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) and Interaction to Next Paint (INP) Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) and Interaction to Next Paint (INP) for your homepage on mobile, where most first visits happen.
Can AI assistants read my website?
Only if their crawlers are allowed in. Mati checks whether the ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini crawlers can read your site and whether you publish an llms.txt file.
What is llms.txt?
llms.txt is a plain text file at the root of your site that tells AI systems what your site is about and which pages matter. Mati checks whether yours exists.
What does LLM mean?
LLM means large language model: the kind of AI behind ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. The llms.txt file and the AI crawler check on this page exist so those models can read your site and quote it correctly.
