B2B website visitor identification: which companies came, and whether they fit.
See the companies visiting your website, what they read and how they got there: your own first-party intent data, from one snippet. When Mati runs your GTM, the articles, AI answers and posts bring the companies, and outbound reaches the people who fit. Mati names companies, never individual visitors.

Visitor identification questions, answered.
What is B2B website visitor identification?
B2B website visitor identification names the companies behind the anonymous traffic on your site. Mati identifies the company, scores it against your ICP, and shows what it read. It never identifies the individual visitor.
How do I identify companies visiting my website?
Add Mati’s visitor-tracking snippet to your site’s <head> or install it through Google Tag Manager. Identified companies then appear in Mati with their visits, pages read and ICP fit, synced several times a day.
Does Mati identify individual visitors?
No. Mati identifies companies only and stores no visitor identity. The people directory lists people at the company by name and role, with no emails or phone numbers.
How does Mati know how a visitor found us?
Mati records how each visitor found you at one of three levels of confidence. The visitor told you on a “How did you hear about us” form, they arrived through a link Mati tagged with UTMs on every post and article, or it is inferred from the referring site. Visits from AI assistants are detected by referrer.
Can I see which articles brought in leads?
Yes. Each article Mati published shows the identified companies that read it.
Which plan includes leads and visitor tracking?
Leads and visitor tracking are part of the Scale plan.
Is Mati an intent provider?
Not in the usual sense: Mati gives you first-party intent data from your own site, not signals gathered on other people’s sites. It shows the companies on your site, the pages they read, how often they came back and what brought them, and scores each one against your ideal customer. That is intent you can act on, from a source you own.
Is this a B2B lead generator?
It is the half that names the companies. The articles, AI answers and LinkedIn posts Mati publishes bring companies to the site; visitor identification tells you who they were and whether they fit. Outbound to more people like them is the other half.
